Today was just a day to rest and get into the island groove. Just discovered that Hakuna Matata is actual Swahili the means "No Problems" ... everybody uses it here with the tourists.
Living the island life ... eat, capuccinos, drinks, watch people go by, buy trinkets ... we actually ended up buying some cool African wooden masks.
In the afternoon, we decided to go snorkeling out to a coral reef ... pretty cool. We did notice that there were very few fish around the reefs ... apparently a result of over fishing. It was nice to be in an actual Zanzibarian hand-made wooden boat with a local crew and get a sense of what life in the sea around here could be.
Tomorrow, we are taking the first ferry out to get on our bikes and head north towards Kilimanjaro.
